Coolant or Condensation on Oil Dipstick?
Bought an '05 RX8 not too long ago and I had to add oil to it for the first time yesterday. After I was done adding oil, I checked the level on the dipstick and noticed either condensation or coolant on the dipstick. Just wondering if this is a common occurence with condensation or if I have some sort of innermixing issue going on with my coolant and oil. This is the first rotary engine vehicle I've owned, so any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm a little concerned about this, since I've been a mechanic for the past six years and never seen this before on another vehicle without there being a problem... Thanks for the help in advance.

Yes, it's common if you live in cold climate. Please, get used to searching the forum and learning answers before making a thread that has been answered XXX amount of times. Welcome to the Club :) Oh, and you'll probably get flamed for this.... |
Yeah, my bad. Haha. I just noticed that there was a posting with a huge amount of people having the same problems. Thanks for hitting me back though, for sure. Much appreciated.
