Compression test results from freshly rebuild engine, is this bad?

Hello,

I just took my car to a Mazda dealer for a compression test as I had the engine rebuild 6 months/5000k's ago but it wasn't any better since I got it back.

Here are the results I got from Mazda:

Num 1 L
Cranking speed 228rpm 06.8
07.0
06.7

Num 2 L
Cranking speed 228rpm 06.5
06.8
07.0

They are saying this is bad and I need another rebuild, the cowboy who did it must have stuffed it up. What kind of numbers should you expect from our engine after its been rebuilt?

2003 RX8 6 Speed.

what was "rebuild/replaced" during rebuild ?

it sounds like u reuse the rotor housing.

I'm not sure what was replaced in the rebuild as my warranty and car dealer paid for it, he also upgraded my starter motor. The compression test results before the rebuild are:

No1 at 177RPM 05.9 05.7 05.2
No2 at 177RPM 05.6 05.3 05.7

Is anyone able to work out what those values are at 228 RPM so I can compare it against the post rebuild test?
