coil removal - how to remove the ignition coil harness
 

hello rx8 club,

my rx8 gave up an ignition coil today, would like to diagnose and replace but i cannot get the stupid harness clip off of the coil pack to remove it from the car.

any insight? where do i push down with my thumb on the clip to remove the harness from the coil pack?

Hey a fellow Winnipegger!!Which coil is it? Using a flat head screwdriver helps... But I've never changed them before...

not sure which coil it is, and you are well aware that it is cold as balls outside at the moment.

i'm working with a flat head and a new coil, hell maybe i'll post a DIY when i figure it out.

haha I do know how cold it is! That's why I've stored mine in a heated container for the winter ;)
