Clutch

I changed my clutch line to a steel beaded one and trying to bleed it out but every time we pull the pedal back up and open the bleeder it sucks air back in. The master cylinder is new slave cylinder is semi new. I had the same problem back when I changed the clutch out the strange thing is when I changed the clutch I never opened the system to air but yet I had no pedal after install. The problem was never fix because it seemed to fix it's self after a lot of time and aggravation.
Any in put or thoughts are welcome.

Put a hose going from the bleeder up to your hood. When you pull it up instead of pulling in air it will pull in a little old fluid. Pump it about 30 times until you get fresh clean looking fluid in the hose.

After you get it done, let me know how it feels. I bought a stainless steel clutch line but haven't installed it yet.

Master cylinder air locked and was not pulling from the brake ress hens why it would suck air in the bleeder. Much better clutch now. Do not attempt this by your self you'll need at least one other useful person (my wife proved not to be this person) to help bleed it really well. A vacuum bleeder would be a big help and make it a one man job $34.99 auto zone.

Edit
Let me clarify one thing the clutch pedal dose not feel harder with the breaded line when I said it feels much better I ment shifting it feels like it's opening and staying open much better. A visual observation all so proved to show the slave cylinder pushing the throw out bearing yoke much farther.

Thanks! If you're not planning on keeping the bleeder you can return it. That's how they "rent" their tools. Does it feel like the clutch opens any sooner in regards to pedal travel?

No not so much it definitely has a impact on staying open better I had a problem when holding the clutch in for more than 10 seconds the old line would swell and the clutch would start to close. Haven't has reverse grind any more high rpm shifts don't grind it was a big change and well worth the time and money for the part.

That's good news! I know what I'm doing next weekend now.

The easiest way is a pressure bleeder.......otherwise it can be a PIA because the master has such a small volume.
