Cigarrette Lighter socket question.
I have an '05.... the center console socket has quit working... but the one in the ash tray still works... I checked that fuse and it was good... is there a second fuse for the center console one? Not sure what's all I should check other than that... any info will be helpful. Rather try to do it myself... before I pay a shop to fix. :-)

Yes, it's a seperate fuse.
15A for the lighter, and a 20A for the accessory socket, which also powers the trunk opener. S |
Yeah, I found the problem, before checking here... I just went through each fuse and located a burnt one....
On my Fuse panel, it was listed as "Aux". I replaced it.. and everything worked fine... It was a 20A fuse as Stealth TL said... but I didn't have a problem with my Trunk not opening... Push Button or Keyless (But, I have aftermarket Alarm installed for that). |
