Any Comment Pls Help?

Nope. but disconnecting the battery won't accomplish what you want. you're cel will still be there, and you'll have to reset your dsc.

To make the DSC operable, do the

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON
position.
2. Turn the steering clockwise fully,
then turn it counterclockwise fully.
3. Make sure the DSC OFF indicator
goes off.

5. Make sure the TCS/DSC indicator

If the TCS/DSC indicator light and the

consult an Authorized Mazda Dealer.

AutoZone people may be trying to read the code with a non CAN bus reader.

Make sure your gas cap is tight before you clear the PCM. That may be the cause of the CEL. If the CEL comes back, take the car to the dealer to have them read the DTC code(s).

You'll have to calibrate the DSC, reset the clock and reprogram the radio buttons after you reattach the battery cable. See the owners manual on how to do that.

or what u can do is this, go to a local shop n or dealership non mazda, n have them use a microscanner, generic would work has in my case, if its generic it should read off the DTC, then dependin on what urs is, then u can go from there if its small problem u can repair, or take to a dealership for warranty work.

Dova, I'm curious - why would you go to Autozone first instead of the dealership? Is your car out of warrenty?

dova 03-17-2006 08:40 AM

no is not out of warranty, i work from 630am to around 7pm by than dealerships is closed. i was coming from work and autozone was open and i needed a quart of oil :) hey thanks guys ... today i got to take the car in i went late to work and got a rental from dealership... a ;) neon...

Cool-Blue-Dad 03-17-2006 10:08 AM

Ug, sorry to hear they disrespected you with a neon. I've seen your car pics - you've done a lot to make it look distinctive. I guess there is really nothing they could offer that would compete. I'd be curious to know how many of your coworkers noticed your car missing today. ;)

i got the car back today. the car had a leak on the evaporative emission system, they replace they replace the evaporative emission system. the leak was real small... i was real please with the service ... but man that neon was a piece of **** it had 25000 miles only but felt like if it was going to come apart...

swoope 03-18-2006 01:59 AM

that would be a bad gas cap...

beers

Go48 03-18-2006 05:56 AM

^^^ Yup! Fancy words for a non-sealing gas cap.

BTW, it is really obvious how pampered many of us have become when we complain about a FREE loaner car some of the dealers provide. Maybe walking would be preferred?

swoope 03-18-2006 05:59 AM

not free loaner cars, part of the deal you signed up for. i got a sentra.

it sucked.

Ug, I do remember getting out-of-warrenty service at the Chrysler dealership and getting first a 20-year-old Dodge 300 loaner, then nothing at all when they gave up their loaner fleet (I think it died of old age). However, when buying a brand-new-car in 2005 or 2006 I expect part of the price covers a warrenty and a near-equivalent (4-door, 4-seater) replacement car when the car I bought (which should be running) is in the shop.

You're right, we're spoiled - but we also paid to play. ;)
