CEL and too much oil?

Okay, another problem. Engine was running very nicely for a while. Took it up to Jiffy Lube (yes... I know) and they over filled the oil in my car. Now my AEM Cold Air Intake has a lining of oil and my MAF sensor has a coating as well. I have since recieved a check engine light twice. I got the codes that came up and I have recieved the the following:

P0302 Rear rotor misfire detected Flash/ON 1 or 2 Misfire
P0102 MAF sensor circuit low input ON 1 CCM (See DTC P0102 )
P0113 IAT sensor circuit high input ON 1 CCM (See DTC P0113 )
P0171 System too lean ON 2 Fuel system (See DTC P0171 ) x 2

Is this just coincidental or has this been documented to cause problems from overfilling. Also, is there any suggestion to fix the problem so I can get my car back up to tip top shape.

I also have a Esmiril Racing ignition system, but I have checked and rechecked all the wires and it seems to be correct and in working order. This was working fine for a few weeks before the problem in the last few days.

this is NOT a coincidence...about a month back a tech not paying attention at my beloved dealership (who is no longer allowed to touch my car) overfilled my oil by 4 quarts. no joke. he forgot he had put oil in and put oil in again. my ck engine light came on, felt like the engine was smothering (which it literally was) and i had powerloss when downshifting to change lanes to the fast lane. after 4 hours at the dealership i got (under warranty) all new plugs and coils and they drained the extra oil. when they coded my car i had over 500 misfires in one rotor and over 1200 in another....overfillling is bad bad bad....idk if your dealer (or whoever you take ur car to get serviced) will cover the muck up by jiffy lube under warranty...i know they did it for me cuz their guy jacked my car up, not someone else.
good luck...

Took my car into the dealer since Jiffy Lube claims they didn't cause an issue. Getting the dealer to document the problem and the fix. If all works out, going after Jiffy Lube to make them pay the bill.

GL i hope it works out for you, i forgot to add they replaced my wires too.

This is common with overfilling. And definitely Jiffy Lube's fault.

There is a hose that runs from the oil filler neck to your intake hose so that any extra oil can get sucked in to your engine and burn. Only problem is if it's really bad the oil will dribble out down in to your intake tube and pool in your intake box. Then when you start up the car again all the oil gets sucked past the MAF sensor getting it dirty.

The fix is:
1)drain out the excess oil so it's not overfull
2)clean out your airbox/airbox hose and air filter
3)Get MAF sensor cleaner and clean off your MAF sensor
4)Call Jiffy Lube and tell them they're a bunch of poo flinging apes that can't read a dipstick and you want your money back!!

Get on jiffylube and make them pay for everything
