Car wont start...cranks. No fire.

I just went out to start my 2004 8, it wont start. Its cranking, but no fire. Any ideas before I call AAA?

It hasnt been started in a few days and it was sitting on a hill in my driveway....I rolled it down into the street and Im letting it sit for a little bit, hoping flat ground will help the fuel pump out a little bit. My dad manages a shop back home and he's wondering if its spark. Has anyone had a problem similar to this? I REALLY dont want to have it towed back home for something little that I can fix.

Thanks.

on a hill should not matter unless you were really low on gas.....Sounds like it is flooded! did you shut it off before it was warmed up? If you did there is a good change it is flooded adn need to follow the de-flood procedure in the owners' manual or search here it's been discussed many times before

I finally got it started. I dont believe it was flooded, but it may have been. I usually do a good job of clearing it out before I shut it off. Carbon build up shouldnt really be an issue either, I probably hit redline at least once a day. I think it may have been a spark issue. I ran the battery dead trying to get it started (I tried the de-choke procedure and also taking the fuse out for the fuel pump, nothing seemed to work.) so we hooked up jumped cables from my roommates Jeep and it fired right up on the first crank. Anyone heard of an issue like this before?
