so today i had to brake hard for and ended up skidding forward for a couple feet. then for some reason my low oil light lit up for the rest of the drive. after restarting the car the oil light did go away however i was just wondering why it lit in the first place. oil level was right on the full mark...

Check out the service bulletin below. If your car is in the VIN number range shown, this could be your problem. In which case take the car to a dealer and have them perform the bulletin service.
