blown trans and or clutch?

Ok so first off yes I drift my car at events regularly so im not really suprised im having issues, I mean I beat tha crap out of it. so last night I went for a test drive before an event the following day, it was driving fine and did a WOT pass to pop a flame at my buddy beside me, got off the interstate, went about 3 miles to a red light, when it turned green I went for first gear and it grinded really bad and wouldnt go into gear. I got it into first after a few tries and it shifted into 2nd ok. went maybe 500 yards into an appt complex and stopped to park, went for reverse and it was grinding really bad again and would not go into any gear after that. had to have it towed home and could not engage any gears. when we rolled it down my drieway and at idle I could hear chattering comming from the clutch area. pedal resistance feels fine. idk if its just the clutch itself or the whole thing is F'ed. any help would be greatly apreciated. Im hoping to pull the trans next week and see the damage my self.

Well I think I would start at the hydraulics for the clutch and work my way inside the actual transmission from there. If you abuse the tranny you will eventually pay the price. If your lucky all you will need is the basics, clutch disk, bearing and pressure plate. Depending on age I like to put in a new slave cylinder while I'm down there, but If it works don't worry about it. If your not lucky start looking for a replacement unit.

Good luck
