Battery Drain "Room" Fuse

So I started having starting issues after installing a new driver side sun visor (it didn't have one when purchased). It is definitely a drained battery so I started checking the usual suspects.

- Cleaned all terminals
- Checked loss across top of battery (none indicated)
- Checked water level (it was fine)
- Checked drain on battery (negative off, ammeter in series)
This showed a 40ma-50ma loss consistently.

I assumed it was the new visor, so I disconnected it and nothing changed (still 40-50ma loss). I pulled the "room" fuse (15A) and the draw dropped to below 1ma loss. (also checked the trunk light and it stays off).

So what the heck does the "room" fuse control? It seems to control the radio and interior lights but is there any issue with driving with it out for a while so I can sort out the real problem? Are there any common issues associated with the "room" fuse and battery drainage?

Thanks in advance.
