Awful rattle coming from chassis/engine??
 

Okay..I've had my 04' rx8 6speed for almost a month now..I like it..but it doesn't impress me as much as it did the day i picked it up..I keep it meticulously clean in and out.. I haven't had any issues with it to keep me from doing what i need to do However.... there are a few things about the car that are driving me crazy so maybe you guys and tell me whats wrong.?

1. At idle..there is an awful rattle that comes from underneath or the motor/tranny - not sure..But if i give it just the slightest rev to get it about idle rpm, the rattle completely goes away.. So maybe one of you knows exactly whats wrong already.. I believe when you turn the A/C on it gets a little worse, but that may be just because most engines work harder when ac is on...

2. My heated seats only work when the heat it on..? someone said thats normal but i refuse to believe that..ive never heard of a car that has heated seats but ONLY when the heat is on...?

+1 on motor mounts and no your heater does not have to be on in order for the seat heaters to work.
