another flood promlem? i think not...
 

2004 rx8.. rediculous amount of miles... had it for about 4 months now and i flooded the engine the first time within the first two weeks becayse this is my first rotary so i had no idea about the cold start stop flood thing goin on. well 400 dollars later i learned how to avoid the flooding problem.. but then something happened today that today threw me off...

now that warm whether is here i have had no problems with the rx8 and its started up nicely everytime.... last night i drove home from a friends house... about 10 minutes away... so plenty of time to warm the car up especially when its already 70 degrees out... got home, put her in the garage and shut her off like usual.... well when i went out this morning i couldnt start the car... sounded like it was flooded again... so i took some steps... took the fuel pump fuse out, changed the oil, cleaned off the spark plugs and blow out the oil/fuel mix in the combustion chamber, well it still wouldnt start... my dad had a wise idea to take off the intake and spray WD-40 into the intake manifold, he didnt but we still took the intake apart... and when i got the intake off i was shocked with the sight of a fuel/oil mix puddle sitting inside the intake manifold....

i am at a loss of words here because my car still wont start and im a little scared that there is oil and fuel in my intake manifold... anyone have any ideas to whats going on here?

Have you recently had an oil change done? Maybe poured too much oil in?
If you look at the three rubber lines between the MAF sensor and the throttle body, one goes to the top-neck of the oil spout. This is why people install catch-cans.
Just clean/wipe the intake, open the throttle body's flap and clean the best you can.
May not be a bad idea to clean the MAF sensor while you're in there.

It's oil blow back; you put too much oil in it, it's a common problem with the 04's and 05's.
