airbag warning light flashes and then stays on.
Please don't tell me to check connections under the seats and behind the glovebox. I have tried already!
With that out of the way if anyone knows any other ideas or can help me diagnose the fault I would be very grateful. Watch the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ap3cunxpAq4 |
The Air Bag system is not DIY type of work. one mistake and BOOM you have a bigger problem. If you have disconnected all the connectors and reconnected them and still have the flashing light you should take it to a shop to look at.

Fair enough. Might have to start saving then :_)

When you said you 'checked' the connectors looking at them doesn't count. Every time I had this issue the connectors looked to be firmly attached. You have to remove/reconnect them. Sometimes like with a PC un-pluging the unit fixes things a reboot doesn't.

ya I disconnected them, blew on them a bit and reattached firmly. thanks anyway. Looks like this job is too big for me, i'll have to hand it over to the big boys.
