AEM CAI= Stuttering at 4 and 7K. HELP!!

Ok, So I just installed the AEM CAI in my car, and now it stutters around 4k and 7k. Other mods right now are the AP pulley, AP midpipe, and Greddy SE exhaust. My dealership told me that it could just be there is too much air for the ecu and that I should accessport it to see if it changes. I was planning on getting one anyway so hopefully that will work. Also I should mention that the engine and ignition were replaced about 9k miles ago. Any thoughts or help would be much appreciated.

1 Attachment(s)
Reset the eshaft sensor:
1) Turn the key to the 'ON' position
2) Rapidly press the brake pedal 20x until the oil pressure gauge sweeps back and forth
3) Turn the key to the 'OFF' position
4) Start the car!

Also check the nipple behind the throttle body and verify its plugged.
This would normally have a hose for the VFAD, the with the AEM intake, the VFAD is removed.
Attachment 156607

If it still occurs, clean the MAF sensor.

+1 to what Jon said.
you'll need to stomp that peddle QUICKLY to do the reset procedure. Most people go to slow and then the needle doesn't sweepe which means it didn't work.

stupid question but is the Maf plugged in properly?
I would also double check the screens to make sure they're sitting properly as that could cause some stuttering.

on a side note: nice to see a dealership actually recommending an AccessPORT but the whole "too much air for the ECU" is laughable considering the Mazdaspeed Intake is the same as the AEM.

Ah... good call!
Also make sure those screens aren't damaged for whatever reason.

Thanks Guys, I'll definitely run all checks. I know that the nipple and MAF are taken care of. Thanks again.
