2004 Rx8 Will Crank, But Wont Start

I bought a 2004 Rx8(81K miles) in late july, it had a starting problem since i got it. A few months ago i replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, and ignition coils. I also replaced the battery with a 500 CCA and 675 CA. I went on leave for 20 days, my 04 Rx8 was started about 5 times or so(not entirely sure) and when i tried starting it tonight the car wouldn't start, it would just keep making a continuous clicking noise. So i called AAA to get it jumped, while we were waiting we tried again but this time it wouldn't even click. AAA finally got to my car and tried jumping it....it didn't work all it did was try and turn over but never worked, then we decided to get another battery now with 675 CCA and 750 CA, still didn't work, it sounds its trying to turn over but it wouldn't. I still need to do a compression test to make sure i have spark. What is a normal reading on a compression test?? So i'm stuck as to what it could be. Any ideas on what it could be?

Low post count and the word Cylinder makes me think you might be trolling.
But I will help just in case (briefly)

I strongly recommend you read this thread
https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-discuss...t-here-202454/

1) The engine is a rotary no cylinders
2) Sucks about the battery but crap does happen.
3) Compression has nothing to do with a Spark. Post #6 in the given link will explain complain values you require.
4) There maybe a fuse or even the ECU blown with a improper jump procedure. (I've only read of these on the forum, never actually seen it happen)

What could it be?
Not really much to go on here ... and I'm a bit confused as to if the car is actually cranking (turning over) or is doing nothing? The title of the thread says one thing, yet the post says another.
- Clean battery terminals
- Check fuses
- Try deflood procedure you pull start
- Consider the Starter motor is toast. There is a newer faster starter motor from Mazda that you should consider installing anyway, never mind that you've always had hard start issues
- Check the coils for using a HEI Coil tester
- Low compression. Get a compression test done by Mazda or someone that understands rotary's. Post results here. While the compression test won't fix anything it will give you a good idea of the health of the engine.

With a 2004 it is probably the starter. 2006 and newer has a better starter. New battery will help for a bit but starters are still weak! also you can't turn these cars on and off quickly, causes them to flood. take it for a spin and then park it when warmed up a little. If it does happen to flood, tap the starter a little and give it a breat for a few minuits.... then start and pump the gas a little.
I know not very tech-y but it worked for me a few times when waiting and holding the fule to the floor would not! good luck.
