2004 RX-8 Audio + Control Panel Problems
 

Hi,
I have a 2004 RX-8 and Its been great. The car has 97000 kms on it and everything has been working good lately. I got into my car this morning to go to work and the audio system, radio, clock and instrument panel was not working and will not turn on. I push the main volume dial to turn it on and nothing happens. I have checked all fuses and they are all still good. Anyone having the same problem? or can anyone point me in the right direction on what to do/what the problem could be? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I know this is a long shot..

but on my mazda 5, somehow the wiringharness connector to the back of the unit had wiggled off, just enough that one day it stopped working. Probably when the dealer put in an ipod connectivity unit.

So try taking it out and re-seating the connections. It'll take you 10-15 minutes :)
