**HELP**completely stumped

First off, I am sure some member already placed a thread with the same issue but I can not find it. I searched. I just came off deployment and returned to my base in Germany. The car sat for the last 10 months not cranked or moved. Just for shits and giggles I tried jump starting it and it turned over without problems. Which shocked me. Anyways now I am having a issue of it not wanting to start up after it has been driven. It will crank, just not turn over. If I leave it for a couple of hours can come back and it will crank. Seems like it idles really low though. Checked everything that I could think of. Tested the battery, no caution/warning lights and had the starter replaced. I read one post which someone stated to check the compression. Completely stumped on what to do. Not looking for any negative post, just need some advice or help. So I am hoping I can troubleshoot the issue before turning it into the shop on with the next available date on the 25th of Aug and making a extremely costly payment. Oh yeah I have a 2004 Rx8 6 speed manual with around 70,000 miles.
Thanks,
Chris

Did you put a fuel additive in before you left like Sta-Bil or something? Could just be funky fuel.

I used Stabil and left the car with a less than a quarter tank of gas. Ran through that fuel before I filled it half way with a fresh tank and ran through that again. Filled it up a second time to the top.

What do your plugs look like?

I have not checked those yet... going to take a look at them tomorrow
