Whine sound at 2K RPM
 

07 RX-8 automatic

I hear a faint whine or squeeking kind of sound whenever my car is around 2200 RPM. As long as it's near there I can always hear this sound. Otherwise everything sounds normal. It's been like this as long as I can remember, i'm just wondering if this is normal.
