Thats not constant, constant being always on. The lighter is switched, as in, only on when you turn the key.

There is a constant 12v in the radio harness to keep the programmed radio stations in memory.

You can always go to fuse box with a meter........with the car off and find it!
I think one side of the room fuse(15a) is always 12v isn't it?

The accessory socket in the center console has a green wire attached to it that's specifically for 12v accessories

I could be wrong, but that is switched....isn't it? Key in and on ACC for it to get there?

That falls under the switched power category too. Swoope has the best suggestion.

oops...you're right. The key does have to be switched to at least the first position to get power there. That must not be the green wire I was thinking I'd tapped into before. The largest gauge green wire you see by the fuse kick plate? But as suggested put a multimeter to it first.

Also a constant in the stereo wiring for the stereo memory.

what are you wanting to run? and why does it have to be constant? depending on what you want if for it may drain your battery

Room fuse in the fuse box.

nothing better then running it directly from the battery ;)

Very true, but not if you don't want to mess with the extra wiring and running it through the firewall. Also....needs and inline fuse(as Jon316G points out) either way.....from the battery or from anywhere where it is constant.....like one side of the room fuse.

He never said, but I assume it's something with it's own switch and he won't forget to power it off! :Peace:
