Trying to keep the oil clear. Change the oil when it begins to get dark. Usually about 3000 miles. Winter time spoils oil quicker (cold starts in Finland).

Engine blew at 90k miles because of apex seal. All the bearings in great shape. Used fullsyn with a little premix in fuel.

Clear oil for the omp system is must for these things.

I put a sohn adapter on mine not too long ago much better feeling that clean 2 stroke is all That's going in switched to rp synthetic also
