What is this? (MT Related)

Well we have had this car for a few weeks now and I have read the issues with syncros and everything, but none of my gears grind. But I did not know if either of these two problems were related to normal tranny problems. I did a search and tons of reading, the first issue I could not really find as a "common" problem the 2nd I seem to hear/read about but dont know if people take it in or wait until the tranny completely gives out.

Here are my two issues, should I have them looked at, or is this normal?

1. Car kinda "squeaks" a bit at idle while running. I originally thought it was the belt, but the other day I notice that it seems to go away when you press the clutch and then come back when you let off the clutch (in neutral obviously). I have never had a car long enough to "NEED" to replace the clutch. Is this the throwout bearing that causes this problem/noise? Is this normal, I heard the "grinding" sound is, but this is a "squeak" like when a belt is loose (but it is not a bet)?

2. Seems that when shifting into 2nd the car kinda "clunks". The gear does not grind or anything, it just seems to sound like it is going into gear hard. I do not feel any weird vibrations/grinding through the shifter, but did not know if this is the beginnings of my 2nd gear syncro going out or something else. What are you opinions on what this might be?

It is still under Bumper to Bumper Warranty until April 2008 (and/or another 20,000 miles) and under original Drivetrain Warranty until April 2009 (and/or another 30,000 miles I believe) and then I also bought an extended warranty that will cover the car until it hits 119,000 miles. So warranty should not be a problem. If these do not really sound like 'problems' yet then I have some time to hold off and wait until they become true 'problems'.
