What Exhaust Is This ?
 

Bought my 8 used. The exhaust doesn't seem much louder than the other stock ones... but is much bigger ( a friend just bought a stock rx8 and is exhaust is way smaller).

What could it be ? :dunno:

(btw: no brands or anything written on it )

Could be custom exhaust work, and pictures from under the car would probably help identify it if isn't custom.

damn man... please resize and change the orientation of the second one.

Also, a shot from underneath would be helpful. It's impossible to see the size of the catback in your pictures.

it's the same a the stock one from under... can't resize it using online hosting...

Then the previous person probably changed the stock tips.

i think it might be a mazdaspeed... very deep tone on idle... i might upload a vid

It's not Mazdaspeed. But you can't tell anything from the tips, you can have any tips you want welded to the stock exhaust.

using a fucking online hosting shit and doesn't work... i tried... try the thumbnails

looks like oem to me with modded tips based on the location of the exhaust inlet, the use of the oem style crimped joint. Except the welding is a bit suspect on the edges of the muffler, but that could just be through years of forgetting to clean the car.

EOM is stock right ?

Sounds deeper than my friends stock exhaust... i highly doubt tips would make a noticeable difference.

Bought it used and washed it every 3 days so i took real care of it...

And someone knows how to make it louder ( no i don't have the 3rd blocked hole that i could cut to get a 3rd exhaust flow.) i want to make it louder but its highly illegal here so i want something not really noticeable with the eye. and that i can fix quickly if i ever get asked to go get my car checked

Upload to imageshack.us and you can resize them as you upload. I'm sure lots of other sites let you do that as well. You can also resize them in ms paint which every computer with windows has, I'm sure there are also equivalent things in mac and linux.

I have reason to believe TOKICO shocks may be on sale. So check that out and then PM bse50 about a 3 Rotor.

one of my friend has the same thing,is tips on the stock exhaust and he got them from mazda here in cyprus.dont remember how much he paid for them but i am sure that he buy them from mazda

ok so came up its the EOM exhaust and my cat is failing so thats why it's louder than any other stock rx-8s. pretty cool tho
