Vibration after transmission install.

I just replaced the clutch and transmission with a Centerforce (ditched the ACT) and a used transmission in my buddys 8. It seems that something isn't right. The torque arm is rubbing against the front chassis brace. Its like the whole engine/transmission assembly needs to be pitched up. I searched around and noticed that there is a tsb on the motor mounts, which is the only thing I can think of that would cause the assembly to pitch down. I did what I could tonight to get it finished, I just spaced the brace down maybe a 1/4". Without the spacers the brace doesn't hold any of the weight from the torque arm, it just rests on it. When driving without the spacers it gets a very harmonic vibration similar to a blown U-joint feel. The vibration is only at a certain rpm and between high rev shifts. I'm not sure if it might have something to do with it being a different tranny? Im assuming everything is the same between years as everything bolted up fine, but maybe not?

everything is the same as far as trannys are invovled.

the only vibration that I can think of, or should I say have experienced, is the tranny bolts not being fully tightened on top since it's a tough spot to get to.

you need to check the alignment of the ppf.. you need a service manual to read how to do it..

find a mazda maniac post, go to his website.. the manual is there..

this is important.. yes you might have bad motor mounts, but the ppf alignment is very very important.
