Tokico Shock Adjustment Cable on KW V3
I'm dying to put my new set of coilovers on my 07 GT, but I am hesitant to put it on until I sort out the rebound adjustment access issue on the rears.
I've bought a set of Tokico shock cable, but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to get the cable to work on my KW V3 rears. I couldn't find any DIY type help that I could mimick. Does anyone have an implementation they'd like to share? I would appreciate any help. |
You're probably going to find more help over in the Suspension forum on this.

What you could try, and this is the first thing I will do, take a grinder or drimel tool to the tokico adjusters until they fit into the KW V3's. Make them nice and snug and they wont come out. |
Picture of the adjustment portion of the KW's might help..

Thanks for the replies.
If this is in the wrong section of the forum, could I get this moved to the suspension forum? As for the adjustment part of the KW rears, it can be turned with 2mm or 1/16 allen key. 1/16 seems to be a tighter fit. The thread pitch of Tokico adjusters are M10X1.25, while the rear shock shaft is M12x? I'm still waiting on KW's reply regarding the exact thread pitch. I can post some pictures when I get home. |
