Setting up Headlight Washers on US car

Hi all, I bought a front bumper cover from a Canadian car (complete with headlight washers), and I installed it on a US car (which don't have headlight washers). Now I'm thinking that I may as well hook them up if possible, since it would be a neat way to set my car apart from other US ones.

Does anyone have the faintest notion as to how? There's a hose coming from each, and I heard that there may be a headlight washer fuse I guess I'd need to put in...

I'm not sure exactly how you could do this, but here's the information I know about the headlight washer system.

-There is no seperate switch to activate them. It activates once every few (5?) times you use the windshield washer, and only when the headlights are on.
-The reservoir is different in canadian cars. It is larger and has a different pump at the bottom. I haven't checked to see if it is one pump assembly or two pump assemblies.
-There is a hose leading up to the bumper, on the passenger side only. Both headlight washers are supplied fluid from the same source.

Hope this information is helpful to you in solving this puzzle.

You need to get the special washer tank that goes with it and of course the hoses.

The washer tank has a different wiring harness.. its close to the one in the US car, but has a spot for a separate relay/module?

I started working on it, but ran out of time to actually get it to work.

If anyone has a Titanium Gray front end with washers, I'd be interested to continue my experiment.. ;)

Hmm... I wonder if I can take the pump and reservoir out of the Canadian car that supplied me the bumper. It's obviously not being used, but would that leave any problems in the Canadian car?
