searched threads, still clueless

Hey guys, sorry to bother everyone. I've searched a fewthreads, but don't know what the deal is with my 8.
I had the mounts changed, and it ran awsome for a few months.
Now it's losing power after about 30 mins on the highway.
when I first start it up cold, it runs powerful.
but while driving, I start to slowly lose power, to the point where I have a hard time going up a hill on the highway in 6th. which i'd never had a problem with before.
its seems to have little power loss if I lightly tap on the gas. but the more gas I give it, the more it bogs down. and I hear what souinds like a popcorn sound.
when it cools down after 30 mins, power is back to normal until I drive it more.

any info will help greatly.. ;)

It's likely the catalytic converter clogging up. Get it to the dealer before it gets waaay too bad to drive. My dealer is 90 min away and I waited to long to do it and had to have it towed, long story though.

Have you had the latest recall done?

The "Loss of Engine Power" can't recall the exact name or Code at the moment???

Cat, coils, compression and plugs.

Have a qualified rotary mechanic check them all.

hmm.

Sounds like you might wanna have mazda look at it if you're under warranty. Many have had similar issues before. Obviously not good whatever it is. follow Socket7's advice, they should be able to figure it out from that... if not, then you have a problem that will be hard to find.
