Screeech.. Help :[

When I stop at a light and I can hear a Screech, but it also comes back when I go to.
It happens when I just drive and not when i press on the break. if im just driving you can hear it is faint but not loud. It gets worse if im going through a drive through to get some food :Eyecrazy:
So what im wondering is it could it be the breaks or could it be something in the transmission like the clutch. I have a 06 with only 38800 miles on it "/ im so confused on what it could be..:dunno:

You probably still have the OEM brake pads on the car and they are almost worn out. Brake pads come with an indicator that makes a noise when it's time to replace them.

First thought is the low pad warning tab. Have you checked your brake pads lately? Most pads, especially oem, have a little tab the squeaks to high hell as a warning when your pads get too low.

Edit: Internet high five for posting at the exact same time Al.

I think the squealing is caused by the roads where you can order your food from your car... It's scientific!
Or, what the others said ;)

So it could be the break pad, but they dont squel when I press on the break it only squeals when i go "/ but im a go check it out

when you hit your brakes, your pads are making contact with the rotor, so you usually won't here the indicator right away. Don't worry, it will get worse and constant if you don't replace your pads.
