Rx8 front license plate

so I just got pulled over last weekend and got one of those pesky and much hated tickets for not having a front license plate, I am debating where and how i want to mount it, anyone have any ideas rather then just putting it in the front on the black grill? i have the stock front bumper and lip, pics would be nice as well, thanks

nor in NJ.

I saw a guy with a Mazdaspeed 3 who had a plate bracket mounted into where the front tow hook goes, preventing him from drilling the bumper. Perhaps thats available for the rx8 somewhere?

If you search the DIY, there is a kit that replicates the EVO look.

no, the screw in tow hooks, middle of the front bumper. I'll try to find an example, but i saw it on a car in person lol. Honestly it looked super professional, looked like the plate was hovering just in front of the bumper. By far best way ive ever seen to mount one.

here's some links of an official one (tried inserting their pics) and a homemade one:

Ca. has a lot of laws. I finally can drive without fear of no front plate and tinted front windows. Moved out of the state and in Fl we have neither. Plus registration is about $35 a year.
