hmm.. had the same thing happen to me... 05 though.. whi.. not even 30k KM!, 6 speed
i was at a stop light..threw it neutral, foot on the brake... and iwatched my rpm... dropped to 500rpm, then went up to 1k, then dropped down below and then shut right off.... it started up fine but i found it odd..... everyone thinks its the Coils?.. if this is anything i have noticed a flat spot in the rx8 when i step on it.. aroudn 5k rpm. s.eems liek there is no power but then it kicks back in.... im thinking coils/plugs.... but.?
