Rolling start for Cold Start?

If you have the cold start/floding problem, can you push/roll the car and pop the clutch to start the car? What exactly is the right method for roll starting a manual transmission car?

Umm....isnt flooding the engine the cause of the cold start issue? If you are new to this forum/car..you might wanna search on this.if you dont warm the car up, the engine is flooded the next time you start it....

I've seen a number of threads from Rotarygod that advise that a push start will always work; it's a matter of spinning the engine long enough to clear the excess fuel and re-establish a compression seal, iirc. As far as a rolling start, it might be a matter of how long your hill is! :D

If the plugs are fouled though, no amount of pushing or cranking is gonna help.
