Remote stopped working help!!

My remote to lock the car seemed to stop working all of a sudden i thought it was the battery but i replaced and it still doesnt seem to work. Any ideas of what might be the problem

Check your trunk lid.

Do you have the keyless remote or keyfob with buttons?

May have to buy new remote and reprogram. This also happend to my keyfob (MT '04) and others here. Do a search.
