Recall Fuel
 

me again...dropped the 8 off on monday night for "the recall" and it still isn't ready?
what is this fuel system recall about anyway? i was never notified about it, i just asked the dealer and they told me that it applied...took the car in and THEN they ordered the parts...i have been driving a nissan sentra all week!!! i miss my car

IS THERE ANY REASON WHY IT SHOULD TAKE SO LONG? PARTS ISSUES? LABOR TIME?

IN one word-NO. The parts have been available from Mazda ~3 weeks.The dealer should have ordered the parts before taking any cars in.The actual work including PCM reflash is about 1 hr.At our dealership we ordered 10 sets of parts immediately they were available .

my service writer told me when i asked him about the recall, that once i received my letter about the recall, the dealership would have already received the parts. same thing with the control arm recall.

yes what they said and all of this is being said int he recall thread in the issues and problems section this thread is closed
