Rebuilding question... and possible issues
 

long story short I bought a spare engine, weird thing was it was already apart. Didn't notice til today but one of the housings has pry marks, and the front stationary gear has some wear, maybe due to tight drive belts. Should I replace the housing and gear or is it possible to fix either?

sorry---- I would replace the housings and that front bearing would need replacing too.

you can take a chance on the housings but some of those "dents" ( who the hell would do that?) are very close to the seals
