Puzzled by fuel guage graduations !
Has anyone else noticed that the fuel guage has 3 graduation marks from E to 1/4 and 3/4 to full, but has 5 graduation marks from 1/4 to 1/2 and 1/2 to 3/4?
This is a pretty insignificant thing. I am simply hoping that someone might have a reasonable explanation for this odd thing. :scratchhe :icon5: |
Perhaps this is to make the gauge more linear as an attempt to compensate for the unread reserve and extra capacity of the fuel tank.
