potential problem during acceleration

Recently when i accelerate all the way to 9k in first gear and shift to second(first to second is a hard pull) sometimes my car seems like it dies for a split second(radio dashboard goes blank and so does speedometer), but then immediately turns on and comes back to life. Seems to me like the battery connectors maybe loose( i hear the connectors for this car are horrible). I have 42k miles on my 8, the mods i have are B&B exhaust, ground wire kit, throttle bypass, but other than that its pretty much stock.

Some of you may say this problem is due to a poor ground wire installation, but i assure you all that the connectors are really tight and i followed instructions step by step. 30k miles service was done at 32k so i don't think it would be my spark plugs or coils. What do you guys think? Any help?

did you ever change your trans fluid?

i believe the trans fluid was changed during the 30k service, but im not sure, i have to check my records, but im more than sure that was changed. It seems to me like this might be an electrical problem?

i'd agree on an electrical problem, especially since the radio dies and the comes back. I'd start checkin fuses, but if you can't find it put the original ground wires on and see if it occurs still, even though you installed the wires correctly it maybe a faulty product to begin with.

yeah i never thought about the fuses. If i should check it, do you know which ones? I've had the ground kit for about 2 months now and it never had any problems before. Thanks for the quick feed back. If anybody knows anything about this, feel free to share :)

i just checked my records, it seems like there has never been a change of the real differential and transmition fluids. I also have a clutch squeak that you can hear inside and outside of the car, i mostly will take it to the dealer considering im still under warrenty.
