Is it possible to remove factory installed Sirius radio ?

Same as topic, is it possible to do so ? Cuz my subscription expired, and I dont think I need it anymore. (sell the unit to someone maybe, if its possible to remove it)

Why would I want to remove it? because I want ipod adapter !

Please let me know if you get it out intact and decide to sell it. Good radio stations are scarce in central Washington state.

i wouldn't see why it wouldn't be able to be pulled. I am the 2nd owner on mine and he had the sirius installed 4 months after purchase

I will try to get it out when I have the time. Work and school and girlfriend(worst) used all my time

it'll come right out. it's just a liottle black box plugged into the aux on the back of the radio beside the cd player. the hard part is going to be removing your receiver on your truck and it's wiring.

thats what im thinking as well

its going to be a pain to remove the wires. Im not sure but if it goes thru the same path as the NAV systems .... I'll leave it alone. too much pain

The hardest part will be removing the antenna if it's attached to your trunk from the factory. I think you have to remove the door stills and the rear seats to get that wire out. The radio took me about 35 mins to remove. There are good DIY's on how to remove it.

Find the thread on install. Or, find the install directions on the Sirius site or from the dealer. I was aprehensive about installing it but it was not too bad and saved me over $300.
It took me a few hours, but I took my time and organized all the screws and read the directions carefully.

Removing it should not take nearly that long. The hardest part was pulling the factory radio that it is plugged into out. I suggest putting the screws in plastic bags and marking the bags with a permanent marker. There are all kinds of screws and it's easy to loose track.
