Possible LOSS of power after Seafoam?

Hey all,
Well armed with the knowledge that carbon buildup is synonomous with hurting these engines, I always try and rev it good every drive. Still, I don't know how the previous owner drove it, so with the advice here, I decided to seafoam it today.

Mind you I've been VERY happy with it's power, and it pulled great to 8k! So I was a bit nervous. I do the normal proceedure 1/3 in the sump, drive it around for 10 mins...then 1/3 in a few of the vacuum lines. Waited 20 minutes, but didn't put in any 2-cycle oil (didn't read that until just now ) Smoked a good bit for 2minutes or so...and dissipated over the next 4 minutes. Changed the oil & filter, then took her out for a spin. (Haven't done the fuel part yet.)

Well something's different all right...and not in a good way. She doesn't seem to have the power she did. Doesn't put me back into the seat nearly as quickly, and she doesn't pull all the way to 8k. Seems to peak around 6500. I don't have a dyno to verify, but by the seat of my pants, she's weaker. She's an '06 with 35k miles. I wouldn't think she had enough carbon to be RAISING compression, but I can't seem to explain the power loss. :Wconfused I'm gonna check the plugs in the AM and see if they've gotten fowled. Anything else I should check for? Did a search, but most people claim increases with this stuff (or no change).

Thanks all!
