oil presure something or other...

sup fellas... there's a lot of oil on my oil pan and its dripping non stop... now i've been too the mechanic and he said my engine isn't leaking... my transmission isn't leaking... he finally told me that it was an oil pressure cap or something... that it opened or broke.. i have the money to buy one but i forgot the specific name of it, does anyone know what i'm talking about? he said its about 120-150 to fix...

Your link only goes to a main page, so not exactly sure what you are talking about.
Only thing I know of that it could be(and I admit I could be wrong) is the oil pan gasket/seal, or that it's leaking at the drain plug. Now, I do know it could be other things as well, but given the location you pointed out(the pan), not sure what else it could be???? Think I'd go back and ask him what exactly he meant and report back here.

Oh noes.................Dan is in here reading, let's see what he says.

Here is something easy to do. Buy a couple cans of brake clean and engine cleaner and go to the local $2.00 DIY car wash. Get rid of ev.erything. If your ambitious, take a jack and 4 jackstands and lift the car to spray the underside and THEN power rinse it. Drive it and then look for evidence. A good flashlight is your friend for this effort. Since oil generally downs DOWN, the hot ticket is to get under the car and trace it back up. Take a look on the underside of the Oil Metering Pump on the front right of the car. Look at the oil filter neck as it often leaks too. Make sure all your vac lines are attached. You'll find it quickly.
