Oil Help
So I checked my oil today and it was a quarter about the minimum line, so I not even a half a quart and went to check the dipstick again and the oil level was now over the max line. Is that even possible with the amount i put in considering where the level was before? On top of this there was a bunch of milky gook on my dipstick, but from what I read on here that is normal in the winter. Also I lost my mazda zipper folder with the manual, warranty info, and mazda 24 hour roadside stickers etc., anyone know how i can replace that stuff?

Give the oil a couple minutes to settle and check it again... Either you read it wrong the first or second time.

contact your dealer or mazda customer assistance (1-800-222-5500) to replace the stuff you lost.

It's easy to drain it yourself.. you can actually get to the oil pan if you jack up the passenger front tire, get a coffee can and open the drain plug.. let about 1qt drain out and put the plug back on. Wipe the oil off the oil pan and check the levels again. Then fill it to specs.
