Are the NGK spark plug wires THE SAME AS the OEM spark plug wires?
 

Can someone confirm if the OEM spark plug wires are the same as the NGK ones? A couple of older threads mentioned they might be the same but I didn't see any definite confirmation.

A local dealership is charging $50 for the OEM wires. At that price, I might as well get the Magnecor ones for $60 at Mazdatrix or order the MSD ones for $60 from BHR. But partsgeek.com has the NGK wires for $21.75 and UPS ground shipping is $6.95.

Someone has to know the answer.

Its the same.

All rx7s and 8s came equipped stock with NGK plugs and wires.

The NGK "ZE81" part number is the OEM spark plug wire set.

I ordered the NGK at partsgeek.com using regular shipping and it only took 2 days to arrive! I'm going cheap this time, but I'll buy the BHR ones from Charles at a later date.
