Next Issue with New Pads

Put on new pads and rotors and test drove it a bit and the driver side rotor was incredibly hot after going around the block. We took it off and one of the pads had gotten cocked when we were fighting with the caliper. We fixed the pad and the caliper slipped on perfectly the next time. Went driving some more for break in and testing it and when we got back it was still super warm to the point the metal seems discolored. They're ceramic and I haven't put those on before. Wasn't sure if it something that occasionally happens or something is still wrong. The passenger side is warm but not to the same level as the driver side.

Clean caliper and piston to make sure it retracts properly.

You need to make sure to rewind them all the way...otherwise they will not retract properly and drag

Figured out the issue. One of the caliper guide bolts was seized and sticking out too far so the non-piston side of the caliper was pulled over as a result and locked up the brake pad. I had to throw the bracket onto a vise and beat the old bolt free and then clean it up and put in a new one. works perfectly now
