Window Trim Removal
Has anyone out there removed this trim piece?
Is there a trick to doing it without breaking anything? Searching turns up nothing useful, so don't bother...
"window trim"
"trim"
"trim piece"
"window strip"
...all have failed.
I'm considering ordering replacements and removing these by whatever means necessary...

Hi
On most cars the procedure usually is that you have to remove the glass then the trim/weatherstripping is held on by clips that pop right out. I'm sure about the Rx 8 though.

I don't remember if it's held by a series of clips or attached by a glue, but to get to that weather strip you would have to completely remove the interior door trim and remove the glass.
If you're a DIY type here's the link I used and followed: Inner Garnish Front Door Trim Front Door Unit Glass Removal
