new starter and new motor mounts ftw!

just got my car back after complaining about rough starts and rough idle so they replaced my starter and motor mounts and its friggin beautiful. Car starts up about 10 times quicker and strongly and idles at less than 750 and i swear rattles have gone away.

I didn't get the new mounts, but when I got a new starter/battery, it seriously gave new life to my vehicle at start-up. No flooding worries now.

Mine is in the shop as we speak getting new mounts, and I am not even in the VIN range for the TSB. Rough idle, hesitation, loose feeling in drivetrain. I hope its all better!

I'm out of warranty, but I'm getting all the typical symptoms for mounts.. Any idea what the dealer would charge for labor? I don't suppose this is a "in your driveway" type of job...

Canada it costs about 1000.00 for parts and labour, not sure about the USA. It's the new backet and mounts that are so expenses as the labour is esimated at 2 hours.
I was just two weeks out of warranty and the dealer is still going to replace them as it was obvious that the problem occured while still in warranty. If I was use I would push the dealer.

Mine was covered under warranty but the charges on the receipt were $621 for parts and labor.
