i am putting my engine back into my 8 after a rebuild and im unsure of a few things

first is this 2 prong grey plug from off the main engine harness i have no clue where it plugs into.

it comes off the main harness, off of the wire (shown in red) that runs down and plugs into the part (shown in yellow circle) in photo(3). sounds confusing but if you have had your hands in here alot before it should come easy once you locate it.
the rest of the picture show the area that it is in, you can clearly see the plug that is loose and where the location of it is.

another issue im having is remembering what attaches to the metal tube for the clutch on top of the tranny shown in photo(5)

thank you for any and all help

Is that the connector for the SSV impact switch?
If not, then how about eshaft positioning sensor?

The slave cylinder rod just goes through the release fork... nothing else is attached to it.

It is not for the eshaft position sensor I am sure of that. I labeled almost everything, and that one was clear, same with the SSV connector.
This particular plug is part of the main harness, off of the branch of wire that wraps around the front passenger side of the motor. Even more specifically, it branches off the wire that reaches all the way down the front of the engine and plugs into the part shown in the yellow circle.

Sounds like a mouth full but to anyone who has messed around with their rx8 under the hood, this should be fairly simple. I'm just gettin started with mine and I'm no mechanic, not yet.

Thank you
