Need some SARD boost control help.....
I'm trying to install a SARD 'Trigger' SR-58000 controller, but of course all the documentation is in :eyetwitch JDM-ese!
I have the electrical connections and controls mostly figured, but didn't get the hardware diagrams:banghead: and need a little guidance on the actual plumbing of the hoses; if I understand it, the boost signal goes to the gauge, and the 'OUT' on the pump goes to the wastegate actuator? I'm confused as to where the pump's 'IN' nipple connects? - does it get a boost signal too, or just an air inlet for the pump? .....any SARD plumbers out there? S |
I am not familiar with that unit, but shouldn't you be running something to a boost solenoid?
|
The Sard uses its own pump to open and close the wastegate - independant of the gate's spring pressure or the boost pressure, enabling a change in psi at the touch of a button.

interesting, stealth. I am using the aem tru boost, while it is decent, it can be confusing. I googled the sard unit, looks really slick. I could not find anything to do with installation though and their website is Japanese...
