Is my car still under warranty? IF So..?

Lil Help Please? Ive tried searching a bit but there is soooooo much info on here.
Im sorry if this is the wrong forum and if so plz move it to the right one. thanks
Ok I bought an 05 mazda RX8 new, in 05, auto (im a paraplegic, so couldn't get manual). It only has 41k on it.
I just read online that mazda extended the warranty to 8 years, 100,000 miles for 04 to 08 model rx8s. Is this true??
If so,
I am getting a DTC P0661 cel code. (ssv solenoid valve control circuit low). Is this covered by the extended warranty?
Any help would be great. I tried calling my dealer but they are already closed for the weekend. If it is covered and this warranty really has been extended, I would just like the info ahead of time so they don't dick me around.
Thank you very much for any help, and plz dont flame me for buying an auto...i would love to have a 6spd.

there is an 8 year/80k mile warranty for the emission system (cat), and a 8yr/100k mile warranty on the engine core (rotors/seals/housings).

thanks

It was worth a shot to find out anyway. Thats pretty cool of them to at least give that extra bit of warranty though. I wonder why I wasnt notified of the extended warranty. ? . Eh...dumb question....Im full of em.
I have found some DIYs fixes for this, from just cleaning it, to replacing it. My friend took out those two bolts,(if ya know what im even talking about) and said that it was pretty frozen. He sprayed some engine cleaner on it and was able to unfreeze it so it moved freely. Reset the comp. by disconnecting the battery, but the light came back on. We reconnected the "diagnostic", comp and it showed the same code.
I know there are a lot of different causes and repairs for it but could someone, maybe, give me a ball park figure of replacing the whole unit. Or maybe just point me to some good informative threads on it.
thanks again
peace
B.
p.s. to the guy who's name says "helping dumb people"...thats funny, and i admit that i need help.
