How reliable does your engine become at 414rwhp?

is that all you can do is charge it and that is it? anything special you can do to it like higher compression rotars or maybe lower so we can do more psi? i know you can do weight reduction and stuff but i just want raw power and then i will lighten it if necessary... thanks

higher compression rotors?

do you even know what the static compression is in our engine?

ack.. nevermind thats just a can of worms i dont feel like discussing. suffice to say what you think is correct is not in regards to compression, power and PSI of FI

i just figured it would be like a piston engine in regards to lowering compression to dump more air into the engine without detonation...

Hesselrode- do the math:

Air resistance ~= bV^2, where b is the combination of factors based on the air and the shape and size of the object.

Force from the engine's power output ~= power/velocity.

Top speed occurs when the force of the engine = force of the air resistance.

Assuming you're driving where they were when those top speed numbers were recorded, then you should get about the same top speed you calculated using these equations. If you can't do the math and figure out the new top speed at 414 hp, then you probably shouldn't be driving that fast(much less boosting that hard) until you get more familiar with the physics associated with cars.

Regards, Crimson.

Is the RX8 not limited to 160mph due to gearing?????

Lower compression is just as important to a rotary as to a piston engine in regards to FI. But you cannot use RX-7 low compression rotors in the MSP. And at the present there are no low compression Renesis rotors.
