Legend Premix

A person is selling some of this in the private ads, and that got me to go look at their website. http://legendperformance.com/article5.asp I would like to hear some expert discussion because I am not an expert! I am especially concerned about their comment about losing compression since I am using a synthetic - Amsoil Saber Pro. They say synthetics coat the "cylinder". One of the big reasons I am using Saber Pro is because I like that it is designed for use at 100:1. I am now using 200:1 because of some good advice here.
I wonder if the synthetic could be cleaned off with FP+ once a month?

Any and all knowledgeable comments welcome!

This site was a good find, but they seem to be apologizing for not putting PIB in their formulation.

You're on the right track to look for 2 stroke tests for other applications.

Their's a real good test of Rotax 2 cycles engines running in ultralight aircraft.

Keep in mind that our water cooled jackets might change the test some, but I'd look for the ones that test best for wear, cleanliness, and port clogging.

Everyone that premixes is kinda doing their own experiment.

I laid in 50k miles worth of Mobil 2T before they quit making it.

Also, Pennzoil air cooled 2 cycle scored high in the Rotax test, although it is thinned more with mineral spirits (varsol), so I'll use 6oz of it when I get to it, instead of the 4oz of Mobil 2T that I use now.
