Key Fob Boot Button
 

Hi,

The boot button on the key fob will not open the boot. The red light [led] shines red. The car locks and opens and did use to work.

Any Ideas Please.

If it's a '04-'05, check the disconnect button in the glovebox.

Post up a video of you pushing the button. Bonus points for skin

Did it ever work? Are you pushing and releasing the button or pushing and holding. Maybe that will make a difference.

+1 on holding the 'boot' button down.

If that doesn't work...bunch your keys up in your hand and throw it at your trunk because it's a piece of shit and mazda should replace it

Like EDZRIDE said, enable the opener in the glovebox.

I'm with EDZRIDE and Stealth on the button in the trunk.

+2, that's what I had to do to get mine to work...the throwing the keys that is.
